The Program aims to:

Schools in the Hobson’s Bay and Brimbank local government areas are eligible to participate in the pilot which

will target careers associated with maths, science, and engineering subjects. Included in the range of industries

that have been identified as significant for the West are the Transport and Logistics Industry and the Health

sector.

The pilot will match mentors with students, in years 9-12, who have indicated an interest in the field of

expertise of the mentor or who would benefit from more information about the industry sector. Students and

mentors will meet in the student’s school during school hours, for one hour a week for ten weeks.
